About Crossbow (Super Quality)
The Crossbow can be learned at level 25 and costs 12 engram points. It must be crafted and repaired at the Smithy. It uses the same arrows as the bow, but does more damage while having a slower rate of fire. The torpor gain from using Tranq arrows is higher when using the crossbow. The crossbow also can be fired underwater making it invaluable when taming or hunting Megalodons, Plesiosaurs and Mosasaurus. It is currently the only weapon that can be fired underwater.
